November 14, 2007

Dear friends and family,

Shannon is currently suffering a lot of severe complications from her treatment.

Please, if you can, join us in a prayer service in the Catholic tradition that includes Eucharistic adoration. All are welcome. This type of service was always special for Shannon in her youth ministry work.

God Bless,
Bonnie

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon me, may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

Dear Bonnie-I will be sure to spend my prayer time today in remembrance of both your Shannon and our Vincent.

We all have colds in our house and did not want to take the chance of getting anyone from Shannon's family sick. I know how important it is for her family to stay well so they can be with Shannon. Our prayers and thoughts were with you from home during the prayer service, though. May God increase the health of the Wolfe family, decrease the number of tears spent, and speed Shannon to recovery.

To Shannon and all the Wolfes (and the good folks at St. John's in Severna Park)...

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to come together as a community of faith too pray for Shannon's recovery and return to good health. The songs and prayers were good medicine for my heart and soul, as well as many those of many others in attendance, I'm sure of it!

It was a simple and beautiful prayer service!

Get well soon, Shannon!

Dear Shannon,
You have been in my thoughts for the past months, as Claudinne has kept us informed of your condition, and I have prayed for you often. May God give you comfort and peace and do miraculous things through you, and may you be strengthened each day by the Love that surrounds you.
Love and Peace To You and Your Family!
